Insurance Inspections Gutters-Downspouts Mark gutters/downspouts as a major condition concern if the existing gutters/downspouts are missing sections or downspouts, detached, hanging or show significant damage or deterioration such as rusting through which would cause the gutters to lose their required functionality.  Rusted Through Sections of the roof or structure where the customer has simply chosen not to have gutters installed on the home are acceptable and should not be marked as a condition concern. Only mark gutters/downspouts as major concern if the existing gutters/downspouts on the house are compromised, or there are obvious missing pieces that are intended to be part of the structure.  Rusted Through Minors for this category include, but are not limited to, gutters dented or slightly rusted. |
