Insurance Inspections Adjacent Exposure-Vacant Dwellings The simple existence of a vacant dwelling next door to our customer does not warrant a hazard to be marked. In order for a hazard to be triggered, the adjacent vacant dwelling must show significant lack of maintenance to the property and the dwelling such as having boarded-up windows (or be otherwise considered unsafe to occupy) along with graffiti on the home, seriously overgrown vegetation, or an accumulation of discarded debris/autos. If these severe issues exist, mark a major hazard. There are no minor issues for this category. Vacant With Boarded Windows Vacant With Boarded Windows |
